I wrote the words and music to this song a few years ago. With A.I. I was able to give it a more caribbean vibe. Kind of like how Neil Diamond wrote Red Red Wine but it was never a hit until it was re-recorded by ub40 with a reggae style. Enjoy

This is a song about a special someone that helped me through a dark and difficult time in my life. Even though we are no longer together, my heart still holds a special place and will never be forgotten. Perhaps you have one of those special people also.

I wrote this when I was 19 looking for a place to live. I accidentally played a wrong note when playing 'Sister Gold Hair' by America and that happy accident turned out as this song : )

Well, I always felt if I have to explain it, I am not getting it across in the lyric. Again, this is the kind of song I'm learning doesn't typically get cut these days. Still, there is something to be said for trying to put something unique in a song lyric. I had a friend whose mother had Alzheimer's. She was in a nursing home in a town a couple of hours away and her husband was trying to live his life, going to church and trying to just get along. She was still his wife and knew she was married but couldn't remember his name. I was touched not only by her plight but by his. I stirred in a little personal emotional experience and there you have it.

Co-written in the beautiful mountains of Northern Georgia with Wendy Ferguson and Donna Norton. We each reached into our deep places to connect with the powerful testimony of answered prayers. How often we forget we even asked. Let us be thankful.
