This song is not about leaving some girl. I wrote this song when I left Nashville and had doubts about my decision.

When I first came to Nashville to write country music, my mother called to see if I would make it home for the Holidays. Since I just started a new job I had to tell her not this year.







When I got off the phone, I got to thinking about Home. So, in the song I go home. It was the first song I recorded in the studio. A girl singer wanted to record it, so I changed one word.
