I set out to write a swampy sounding song like The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia, or Fancy, or Old Red. I wanted to write a good story song. I built the track myself using Logic Pro. I got Billy Droze to add the vocals for me

A co-writer, Beverly Brickhouse, came up with the idea for this song and I just kinda ran with it. Finally got around to producing a track for it using Logic Pro.
