I set out to write a swampy sounding song like The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia, or Fancy, or Old Red. I wanted to write a good story song. I built the track myself using Logic Pro. I got Billy Droze to add the vocals for me

Your story telling is very clear and direct, you’ve done a great job here. It may not be the first time the type of story has been done, but you’ve painted such vivid pictures and I think accomplished what you wanted to do. Now I’m going to try to come up with something along these lines!
