I am a wife/mom/mamaw/lyricist. Born in Little Rock, AR, but have lived in Indiana for the last 31 years. Writing is cathartic for me. I write under my maiden name for privacy reasons. Not looking for recognition but wouldn’t mind that check. Because I am a lyrics only writer, I would love to find a few melody centered co writers to be my go to people. Instruments & Skills
No real musical instrument skills. I mean I guess I could play a jug or washboard maybe lol. I can carry a tune enough that I don't sound like a cow dying, but also won't be competing in any singing contest haha!
Influences
Life...life is my influence, but I love classic and outlaw country. Dolly is my spirit animal, I swore my own mamaw was Loretta Lynn when I was very little (spoiler alert...she is not!), John Conley, Waylon, Willie, Don Williams, Conway (do I even need to say his last name?), Lorrie Morgan and Keith Whitley, love Chris Stapleton and Jamey Johnson's stuff.
