I am a 38 yr old mum from NSW and I have been writing since my teenage years but never had the confidence to develop into songs. I have been teaching myself how to use Abelton to write and to record on the weekends. We have renovated a spare room, using recycled materials, discounted paint, and DIY (as we do) into a home studio and the family now shares the space to be creative - the resulting works shared here from the Mistint’s Studio!

I can hold a tune a beat and play some guitar - learning the DAW world and recording and sound. My son is learning guitar and sings while my partner is getting the hang of some electric drums.

Our tastes are fairly wide - from Dusty Springfield, The Strumbellas and Edward Sharpe to Lorde, Lilly Allen and Twenty One Pilots. We especially love our our local muso's including the one and only 19Twenty! I'm also not sure folk is our genre but it sounds good!
