A lot of us were taught this! It resonates. It would be great to share it in song too. I like that it’s a lesson song. It’s different than what we normally hear. Very good. I especially like the doorway line.

I love this! I think it would be better if it said scared “or” lonely so that way, it covers 2 separate emotions instead of being both.

It’s raw. It’s real. It’s emotional. I’m not sure it could be improved, but review the lyrics written with no music and go over each line and judge for yourself.
