Digging for a 90's country feel this title popped in my head and led me to writing this about a man trying to put out the burn. Standard drinking song!
Always open to critiques and honesty to help myself write the next one even better.

She left me buried, in this black label rubble,
I Never read any warnin', bout' the dangers of smoldrin' your troubles,
But, this empty bottle's, clearly showin',
Mr. Daniels ain't concernin',
Bout' the one-lonely ember, in the ashes Left burnin’...
Chorus:
This Two-Alarm memory,
Needs a remedy,
It's gotta be, stronger than whiskey,
Sittin’ here Til’ Closin' time, ain't gettin' her off my mind.
Sippin' doubles,
Ain't helpin' this struggle,
I'm Just Keepin' myself climbin' up out of,
This Black-Label-Rubble.
V2
I didn't pay attention, To the lack of attention,
I's Too busy Tendin’, to my own good-timin’ needs.
9-1-1- never gotta call,
Cuz, I knew I lost it all,
When she flicked that cigarette,
Into her trail of gasoline.
Chorus:
This Two-Alarm memory,
Needs a remedy,
It's gotta be, stronger, than whiskey,
Sittin’ here Til’ Closin' time, ain't gettin' her off my mind.
Sippin' doubles,
Ain't helpin' this struggle,
I'm Just Keepin' myself climbin' up out of,
This Black-Label-Rubble.
Bridge:
An Old flame I can't put out,
One more call, No Doubt, Ol' Straight,
Can add to his rounds.
Chorus:
This Two-Alarm memory,
Needs a remedy,
It's gotta be, stronger, than whiskey,
Sittin’ here Til’ Closin' time, ain't gettin' her off my mind.
Sippin' doubles,
Ain't helpin' this struggle,
I'm Just Keepin' myself climbin' up out of,
This Black-Label-Rubble.
Yeah, I'm just buryin' myself, Deeper,...
In this Black Label Rubble....
