About This Song

Sonya Dauth invited me to work on her song.
It's up-tempo and people like it when the band plays it live.

This is a fun and upbeat song. There are some interesting visuals in the lyrics that make me smile. I’m not saying it’s a copy, but the music seems very familiar and standard country.

Oops! I hit post before I was done commenting. I was just going to add that you might consider finding a musical hook to make the song and title stand out from the pack. I can see why people would enjoy listening. Best wishes!

Tequila Nights (2019)

Written by Uncle Brent ...

VS:
Still looking for my keys, boys
Thousand brain cells all destroyed
How’d I even get back to the home
Where’d I get this garden gnome
You know my jean are covered in sand
Who’s phone number is on my hand
Can’t think straight or see quite clear
Think I should of stuck with my beer

CH:
Tequila Nights are the best
Even thought it makes me do things I can’t confess
Well, it goes done quick
Really does the trick
(You know) Tequila Nights are the best

VS:
Woke up needin’ a good strong brew
Sun’s bright and the birds too loud
Went out drinkin’ really) late last night
Met this gal wound up tight
Well, we threw back a couple of shots
That’s where my memory stops
One thing, I just don’t understand
Did I wrestle this gnome in the sand?
