One Night At A Time
Bill Archer
When the rain starts to fall outside, I smell your sweet perfume, reminding me the I’m not over you.
Or when the wind starts to blow at night, I can hear you call my name, reminding me things will never be the same.
Now I’m drowning your memory, one night at a time, slowly getting over you, drinking you off my mind, and I’ve played the fool for you, one too many times, I am drowning your memory, one night at a time.
So pour me another round, I’ve got time for just one more, before head to that empty house, stumble through the door.
Crawl up those creaking stairs, and pour myself into bed, I just want to fall asleep, till I start missing you again.
Now I’m drowning your memory, one night at a time, slowly getting over you, drinking you off my mind, and I’ve played the fool for you, one too many times, I am drowning your memory, one night at a time.
Now I’m drowning your memory, one night at a time, slowly getting over you, drinking you off my mind, and I’ve played the fool for you, one too many times, I am drowning your memory, one night at a time.

The build-up of this song is great with the pedal steel then switching to the fiddle, then the bass comes in… I was totally nodding away while listening. nice work indeed.
