Another Place and Time

Written by Bill Archer

Girl why'd we have to break up,
yeah, it took me by surprise,
I guess that's why it's so tough,
Just sitting here tonight.

You said you want to be friends,
Don't know if I can do that,
cause every time I see you girl,
I just want to take you back.

To those red dirt country roads,
looking for a place to park,
and a limb to hang our clothes.

Thinking about that moonlight,
dancing in your eyes,
when I think about me and you girl.

It's in another place and time.

I don't think I could see you,
out with someone else,
just thinking about it,
puts my heart through a living hell.

I know we were friends first,
but the simple fact,
is every time I see you girl,
I want to take you back.

To those red dirt country roads,
looking for a place to park,
and a limb to hang our clothes.

Thinking about that moonlight,
dancing in your eyes,
when I think about me and you girl.

It's in another place and time.

When I think about you,
I think about the day we met,
our first date,
and that first kiss.

On those red dirt country roads,
looking for a place to park,
and a limb to hang our clothes.

Thinking about that moonlight,
dancing in your eyes,
when I think about me and you girl.

It's in another place and time.
