I had a dream that I was with other people at like a tent revival, and they were singing the chorus to this song. This song is a song of hope, and of telling about how Jesus' blood cleanses from sin!

Hey Lacy,
Thanks for posting your lyrics.
Is this a demo or a song cut? The recording itself is awesome! Radio worthy in my opinion.
I would have liked to hear the word “fountain” instead of the word “fount” in the chorus. As far as the lyrics go, they look good.
QUICK TIP: There’s no need to write “verse” next to those sections. The word “Chorus” is usually placed above that section. That way it keeps all your words in an organized, pro-like fashion. It’s easier to read and to evaluate.
Happy Songwriting!

The Fount Still Flows
Verse 1. You’ve been looking everywhere
For a peace that isn’t there
A heart as black as night
There’s no hope, you can’t see the light
Feelings of guilt you can’t ignore
Thoughts that your life is done for
But, there’s a place where love abounds
Where your guilt and sins can drown
Chorus. I know just where to go
Where the fount still flows
Where mercy still remains
To wash your every stain
There’s no other place to go
For the fount still flows
Verse 2. With the cross on the hill
With each stroke of the nails
Little did the soldiers know
They built the fount that birthed the flow
The Savior’s crimson stream
Where all who come can stand redeemed
All because He loved us so
That’s why the fount still flows
