I like how you turned a negative into a positive! My only complaint would be the odd meter on the word “lucky” in the chorus…Other than that, I think you have a winner with this song!

Thanks for the positive feedback James, Dave and Marilyn. That’s an Interesting observation about the rhythm and meter of the chorus. Being so close to it as a writer sometimes it’s hard to pick up on those things. Will be interested in what others have to say.

Hello Carol;
I like the rhythm of the song. The feel is today. I guess the problem, for me, is that it changes rhythm feeling between the verses and the chorus. Seems to go from straight to a triplet feel. Still sounds good, just made me do a double take. Has a similar vibe tune to “Singles you up” by Jordan Davis. I like the song though. Thanks for sharing.
