This song was written just before participating in a national talent show over in Sweden and it ended up on my first EP. Simply uploading it to make an introduction. Hope you'll like it.
Hi James,
Thank you for your feedback. After writing this song I have started incorporating more rhymes. I guess this was written during my blue-without-rhymes period lol
Niclas Vallin from Sweden did a great job on the guitar!

Does it rhyme in Swedish?
Songs don’t have to rhyme…Sheryl Crow made out like a bandit with “All I Wanna Do” and 90% of it doesn’t rhyme. I wrote a song that’s up on Frettie called “Out Here” and until I posted it, it didn’t occur to me that the verses don’t rhyme…but you probably wouldn’t notice if I hadn’t mentioned it…There’s a slight internal rhyme that, I think, fools the ear into thinking there are rhymes.
Anyway, nice song, well sung. How did you make out in that national talent show?

Hi Dave, No, it does not rhyme in Swedish either lol ...
Good to know about the Sheryl Crow song! I will check both that one and the one you wrote out.
I do like internal rhymes, that make songs even more interesting to me.
Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate it. In the talent show I ended up 2nd place (of ten finalists).

I can hear footsteps following me
I can see shadows chasing me
As I walk this road of life
there is so much that I don't know
But I try to do what is right and keep away from the wrong
'Cause I know life's road's not straight
and I have to watch my step so I won't stumble
But when I look up and ahead
I can see the light that's leading towards tomorrow
I can hear voices speaking to me
I can hear angels singing sweet
As I go I know someone
follows each step in all I do
So, I hope I've learned from the wrong
so I can do what is right
'Cause I know life's road's ....

Hello Kriztina;
I am a sucker for a Baritone guitar. I like the song, I was just waiting for the rhymes in the verse. I know it’s not a requirement, just felt unresolved for me. Good music and harmonies throughout. Thanks for sharing
