I’m not quite sure how to fix it, but I think I may be able to change a few lines in the second verse and make it better. I love all your songs. So well composed and produced! I think Mariel is right, the lyric is a bit vague. I’m sure you know exactly what you are singing about, but we as a listener don’t have all these information you have.

I can tell that this song is really close to your heart. I really love the melody line and the vocals and harmonies really help flesh everything out. I did find myself a little bit lost as far as content. The sense of longing and that ache really came through, but the specifics were a little fuzzy. You could go either way, but that’s totally up to you. Really special man. Keep going!! ❤️
