Rest assured ladies, men may not say it, but we know damn well what gets us through the day.
Great Country song! I would be surprised if you wouldn’t get it cut. Good luck!

Marvin, i like the emotional appeal of this song. Its very focused in theme, and the production is great!

Marvin, you continue to maintain consistency. You’ve definitely figured out the formula for writing heartfelt material. I like that simple, 6-note piano riff (C, D, B then A, C, G). It’s interesting how such a simple riff can hang with you (those crazy earworms) long after the song is done…

Yeah—Marvin, you are consistently very solid—after all the songs of yours that I’ve listened to, YOU DID A HALF-STEP MODULATION UP—I wasn’t ready for it (I use more modulations in my songs than Barry Manilow and Burt Bacharach put together—HA!!!). Anyway, quite nice!

Most days it's just a game
And I do well to play my part
Go to work and wear the face
And thank my lucky stars
That the love of a woman - takes me home at night
The love of a woman - balances my life
With a soft touch and a gentle smile
A love that makes it all worthwhile
That innocent and wild - love of a woman
Same plan as every man
I don’t let my struggles show
Some believe I don't need a thing
But little do they know
That the love of a woman - takes me home at night
The love of a woman - balances my life
With a soft touch, and a gentle smile
A love that makes it all worthwhile
That innocent and wild - love of a woman
I walk through that door each night
To the greatest blessing in my life
The love of a woman – takes me home at night
The love of a woman – balances my life
With a soft touch and a gentle smile
A love that makes it all worthwhile
That innocent and wild - love of a woman

I was touched by this song. I feel like we need more of these songs because we need to really celebrate marriage. These kinds of songs are the ones that can give men a way to muse on and convey their appreciation of their wives. I really like the bridge as well, I’m terrible at bridges. The only thing I don’t know if you have a bridge and a climb. Is a climb that thing when it goes Up? This song seems like it doesn’t need a bridge and a climb, that the bridge would suffice, but the climb doesn’t sound bad at all. I got misty-eyed on this one.
