About This Song

I wrote this by myself. I had a period where I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for music career #2. So, this is me being a rock star! Lol. Lyrically I tried to make it fit on both Christian and secular radio

This has a nice full sound and I like the echo effect. Sounds like Christian stadium rock. Does that exist?
Definitely sounds Christian to me, rather than secular. but you might have ruined my chance at being impartial by commenting that it was Christian song.
Nice job on the vocal!

well, I’m not that familiar with Christian rock, but I could see how this could fit there. On the other hand, if that’s where you want this to go, I think it should be more obvious-which I realize would maybe take away the secular. It’s a trade off.  Love the vocal and performance overall.  I notice you used “night” in both the chorus and second verse.  I try to avoid repeating words in both places.  As they say, try to say the same thing in a different way. That would make it stronger.

Jason once again, I love the production on this! What I hear is that maybe you’ve got some strong rock influences coming through, and that’s powerful cool! Maybe like a Fuel sound and those sort of influences driving your creativity??? I dig it though. It’s a good thing! You KNOW there are some driving country artists out there.

Like Richard stated, finding a different way to say it could really build more imagery here. But of course there’s a fine line to that too. Too hip, clever, and cool with the words, and we loose the listener.

Just some ideas and what hits me with this one initially. Cool song though!

I will help you believe instead of can help you believe, because can is coming across as can’t, not sure but I think you were saying can help you.  How about make it through in strides, instead of make it through tonight. What if it’s during the day, or in the morning. That might open it up to the listener saying, you do this anytime you want and it will be a long lasting effect instead of just tonight.

I loved the ‘tunnel’ reference.  Great production.  Lyrics are specific with great pictures and the song as a whole is an easy listen!
