Hey Charles, I’m going to be a little more picky than Barry, but mean it with the best of intent.
In V1L2, I’d go with “never came true”. In L3, “is looking real solid”. In L4, you have an unnecessary “there”. Dropping it doesn’t change the meaning of the line and adds a little more to “you”.
In V2, I’d like to see “dream” or “dreams” used again, as it reinforces the hook. You also used it in V1.
In the last line of the chorus, the singer should stretch the word “Baby” and shorten “only”. The way it’s being sung, it sounds like the emphasis is in the wrong place.
My thoughts,
Phillip

I like the groove you started.
Lost me a little in the content.
Good place to start though.

Hi Charles
I really like this song.
To me it has a real George Strait kinda vibe.
I can hear Josh Turner or maybe Cody Johnson singing this.
Best wishes for its success.
Cheers

Looks like the old band ain’t gonna make it
Dreams of the big time never did come true
The ol’ nine-to-five is really looking solid
I’m a solid man with you there to see me through
As long as I love you and you love me
Ain’t no place I’d rather be than in your arms
Tonight
The moon’s shining bright and in that beam
I see your pretty eyes looking back at me
Everything’s alright
Baby YOU’RE MY ONLY DREAM
Fashion design, girl you had so much talent
I guess raising kids got in the way
Our family was built around your vision
You’re a vision that grows more beautiful every day
‘Cause I love you and you love me
Ain’t no place I’d rather be than in your arms
Tonight
The moon’s shining bright and in that beam
I see your pretty eyes looking back at me
Everything’s alright
Baby YOU’RE MY ONLY DREAM
Reflecting in your eyes, I see a happy man
A man that stakes it all on his wedding band
‘Cause I love you and you love me
Ain’t no place I’d rather be than in your arms
Tonight
The moon’s shining bright and in that beam
I see your pretty eyes looking back at me
Everything’s alright
Baby YOU’RE MY ONLY DREAM
Baby YOU’RE MY ONLY DREAM
Baby YOU’RE MY ONLY DREAM

The production company did a good job for you Charles. A nice song with good lyrics and a `catchy`chorus. I`m sure that if picked up by a recording artist your song would do well
