I’m a wordsmith of lyrics, composition, persuasive speech writing and love all genres and forms of expressive communication.  I’ve been blessed with the best mentors and teachers I could hope for, Ralph Murphy, Don Pfimmer, Chuck Cannon, Lari White, Jeffery Steele and Brent Baxter, and have been writing since I can remember picking up a pencil.  Truly being understood by another human being is the greatest gift of all. My influence is great music from all over the world and when I write a lyric, I usually don't choose a genre until it's finished. Most notably Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash kicked off my love of music, then Emmy Lou Harris and Vince Gill to Fleetwood Mac and Eagles. Most notably the Bee Gees inspired me to actually write then Post Malone and NIN, Maroon Five and Stapleton kept me going:)
