I wrote this song two years ago - I had a very talented young lady do my backing vocals on this track - who essentially is a lead vocalist and into more modern electronic music which was interesting. Our voices were so different but it was nice. Still would love to hear someone re-record this song and put a different spin on it.

This is a very long version of a song I wrote titled 'Freud' - it's taking a poke at false people I've encountered.

This is about a young mother with mental health issues - who wants to stand in her truth despite the odds.

I wrote this song when I was 19! I was influenced at the time by Sheryl Crow - It was a fun one that has always been close to my heart. As a kid I loved the circus - and loved the idea of having a carousel in my backyard!! Would still like to re-record this song someday and find someone to sing it. And I still don't have hippy long hair!!

'What We Do' is a country rock song - it is all about the 'infamous' small town boy and girl trying to get on in life. Just a bit of a fun one.

Crooked Man is a bluesy song where I tried to get it a little Tom Waits-ee! It leans a little too a jazzy feel and blues. But the lyrics for me are important in this one.

Fisherman - once again, I am not sure of what genre - I placed it under Country here but some have said 'Americana' - it has been interpreted a number of ways. It is a song that very well may fall under the Christian category - depending on how the words resonate with you. I like the feel of this song - I like a lot about it, once again, may be a little too long.

'Holy Moly' has a blues/gospel feel. I have tried to pitch it at two artists with no response, but I I really believe in this song. May be a bit long I guess - however, that is something I am continuing to work on with all my songs. I wrote this for my partner.

I placed 'Janice' under folk but it lends itself more to just a ballad of sorts. I find it hard to slot some songs in a particular genre. I wrote it for my best friend and about her battle with breast cancer. For anyone who is interested here is the link of a video I put together:
