Fisherman - once again, I am not sure of what genre - I placed it under Country here but some have said 'Americana' - it has been interpreted a number of ways. It is a song that very well may fall under the Christian category - depending on how the words resonate with you. I like the feel of this song - I like a lot about it, once again, may be a little too long.

FISHERMAN
Well I ain’t the child I was when I was younger
But I heard the wraith and I felt the thunder and I
Survived
Well you’ve made me happy and you’ve made me crazy
And sometimes the silence made me such a lady and I
found the shore
CHORUS
And you reel me in, yeah you reel me in, yeah you reel me in
And I still believe out of all of them
You’re still the best fisherman
Been caught up in darkness and half arsed truth
Caught up on the net and I cut my way through and I
I’m swimming free
Cause I felt the line in my deepest despair
Finally I’m coming up for some air and I
Do believe
CHORUS
That you’ll reel me in, yeah you’ll reel me in, yeah you’ll reel me in
And I still believe out of all of them
You’re still the best fisherman
Well I’ve seen the beggars and gypsies all day
Heard a song for your mama a busker does play and I
Just sing with the chorus
Cause I don’t believe I am better than them
It’s just that I found a means to a beginning
And I felt the end
CHORUS
Seems I only come home when the water is rising
But I can still see ya on the horizon and I
Watch you cast your line,
Give me time
And I’m not the best catch understand
I’m not the best catch if you can
No Im not the best catch understand
But you’re still the best fisherman
