Past the first flush of youth, time feels as though it runs away with the speed of light. This song tries to say some of those things we should perhaps say before it's too late...

This is the unmixed version of a track from a new double album by my band Kuhl. The music and lyrics were written by me, with an arrangement by Mikey Cooling.

We wanted to write an 'Up' track with a leaning toward a gospel feel.

By the time you've downed the handful, or whatever you're just about ready to go. Those pills in the bottle make their own special sound - I like to think of it like a rattlesnake in a jar...
