My only child, Meagan and unborn grandson, Brock were killed on October 17, 2016. Meagan was 26 years old, almost 9 months pregnant, and starting her life with the love of her life. I was in so much pain that I had to get it out. I wrote this.

It's about my first love and us living in a small town. I had started writing and my dream was to make it big as a songwriter.

It took many years for me to write this song. I wrote it for my mom. It's about the hurt and pain she endured for many years with my father. My brother and I saw it all.
