Hey Reid, your song has a nice Pop/Soul feel, reminds me a bit to SIMPLY RED. A saxophone would be a good fit to play some fills and maybe the solo. The lyric is a bit plain and could use some tweaks.

When you visit the 9/11 museum, in the shop area you can buy T-shirts with a print on it: LOVE IS STRONGER THAN HATE. Great message. Your song reminded me immediately to this. However, I would have liked that message to be stronger and clearer in your song.

Hi Tommy, the verse melody reminded me at once to ‘House of the Rising Sun’, maybe you should try to change it a bit. I like the song idea! I think this should be a Rock song or at least heavy Country Rock.
