This is a song to remember 9-11 about how when how important it is to remember that there are more good people that bad when people do bad things. Features Paul Tillery on Stand Up Bass

An interesting song—the quality of the vocals is a little like a cross between Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen. Best wishes for your songwriting endeavors!

When you visit the 9/11 museum, in the shop area you can buy T-shirts with a print on it: LOVE IS STRONGER THAN HATE. Great message. Your song reminded me immediately to this. However, I would have liked that message to be stronger and clearer in your song.

Nice song Ronald! Very interesting chord changes, and they work nicely for your song.
Great transition from minor to major from verse to chorus.
Are you a keyboard player, and did you sing the vocals on this track?

thanks all.
Reid - yes I sang it and I do play keyboards.
I’ve heard mixed feedback on the vocals it goes down to G below low C which is literally the lowest note I can (sometimes) hit. So I’ve debated doing it two half steps higher

THERE ARE MORE OF US THAN THERE ARE OF THEM (39th draft)
By Happy Ron
When I saw the towers fall
I shook down to my soul
'thought HATE WAS all powerful
Watched fear take control
Didn't know what to do
what's this world coming to
I felt small and alone
Life didn't make sense no more
I had to find the man
who always put things in a way
That makes me understand
Dad said don't you worry son
Powerful they are not
They're just a bunch of punks who got in their cheap shot and...
And There are more of us than there are of them
While they distrust, we all blend
If we turn to our neighbor we'll see we're in it together and
And There are more of us than there are of them
Mom said don't you mind the cowards
They only know how to obey
Look at the heroes running towards
Everyone running away.
And no one asks if they
Are redneck or liberal
We have so many people
Tryna save every soul... that's why
There are more of us than there of them
While they distrust, we all blend
When we step into the light, ready to do what's right then
There are more of us than there are of them
They think fear will divide us (thought fear would divide)
Turns out that isn't true
The American Family comes together
They have hatred, while I have you
I need my father's guts
I need my mother's heart
Let our differences make us stronger
So we don't rip apart cause...
There are more of us than there of them
While they distrust we all blend
If the whole world will remember we can make them never forget that... (SURE THEY?)
There are more of us than there are of them
