I enjoy taking listeners on a journey. i love the “feel” of a song and I try to write lyrics that can be moving and familiar….like old friends who’ve known you your whole life.

So many...I grew up a beatles fan...but found myself drawn to great singer/sogwriters like jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, Don Henley. I also liked Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell,. Strangely, I was never a big country music fan growing up but I've gravitated so much to the more modern country and as a lyricist I love how fun and often moving the songs can be.Tim McGraw is someone I find myself listening to more and more...I recently saw Clint Black in concert and loved it.
