Slow Town

(Verse 1)
Turn off the tv let’s step outside
We can sit out on the deck and watch the clouds roll by
Walk to the EZ-Stop and get some fries
Before we know it we’ll be saying time flies

(Chorus)
In a slow town
A little piece of heaven to settle down
Yea we’re countryfied dreaming
On the front porch swinging
With the crickets singing all around
Going nowhere fast in a slow town

(Verse 2)
A blinking yellow light
Lights up that street at night
Neighbor kids hanging out past their bed time

A little sweet tea
With you beside me
There ain’t no place I’d rather be

(Chorus)
Than living in a slow town
A little piece of heaven to settle down
Yea we’re countryfied dreaming
On the front porch swinging
With the crickets singing all around
Going nowhere fast in a slow town

(Bridge)
Some people say there ain’t nothing around
Man I love a blink and you’ll miss it town

(Chorus)
Yea it’s a slow town

A little piece of heaven to settle down
Yea we’re countryfied dreaming
On the front porch swinging
With the crickets singing all around

(Chorus)
Yea it’s a slow town
A little piece of heaven to settle down
Yea we’re countryfied dreaming
On the front porch swinging
With the children playing all around
Going nowhere fast in a slow town
