This song contains a little story with a beginning, a middle and an end. It comes from a lead guitar riff that I've had for about 20 years and never used until now.
Just let me know whether you like it or not. I will probably shelve the song for a while as my ears are tired of it.

Dan and Diane from the sedan
Dan and Diane they had it all planned out
Dan and Diane walked in deadpan
Then they began with pieces locked and loaded
First shots fired took out telephones and alarms
Warning shots were fired but they promised no harm
People faced the walls reaching up with their arms
Dan and Diane left with bags under arms
Tried to sneak away in the getaway car
But the way was blocked didn't get very far
So they ran on foot through an open bazaar
To find a door that was ajar
And they slipped into a bar
Dan and Diane were far too wise
Dan and Diane were working in disguise
Took off their wigs and colored eyes
Put on spare clothes and no one recognized them
Dan left up to the elevated railway
Diane went right down took the lower subway
Rendezvoued up north at a YMCA
Met a guy who took them the rest of the way
Found the folks who hired Dan and Diane to steal
The kiddies hugged for saving daddy's ordeal
Dan and Diane said they were keeping it real
And they would do it all again
To fight evil mercantile
Dan and Diane not merely thieves
Dan and Diane the folks believe in them
They'll right the wrongs by who deceives
Robin Hood your stuff and grant you some reprieve

Hi Nathan, I really like this, very catchy. It had a “Beetles” feel to it.
Great work!
