About This Song

This is an experimental mix using the build-in speakers of an iMac that I using for a short time until I can get a suitable replacement for my dead Mac Pro from 2008. It's over-compressed, over-limited and all-around made for shitty speakers.

Feedback Requested

Does it sound too shitty? I tried to move some bass frequencies up from below 80 Hz to the 80-160 Hz range using the MaxxBass plug-in from Waves, but I think it's shit, but wondering if anyone else does as well. At least you can hear everything.

Nice shit I’d say, to me it sounds original, fabulously punchy, drives what is a great bass line along brilliantly.

Thanks much, Cas. It’s sort of a brutal experiment, pushing the sonics into bizarre places that no sonics have any earthly right to be, but I am glad you liked it. I don’t normally mix this way, but my old computer died and I am temporarily stuck with what is, at best, a temporary computer, until I can rebuild my main system.

I have to agree with Cas, This “effect” does kind of fit the song. Sometimes those accidents are worth looking into closer. Thanks for sharing!
