About This Song

This song is about an ex....lol of course right...
the song is a little exaggerated and I felt what I put into it might hit with someone on how they felt just after getting out of a toxic relationship.

Exaggerating is allowed. You gotta let the song become and sometimes that’s what they do.
I think you’re heading the right direction with this. If this was my song, I’d let it sit untouched a while then go back and look at lyrics only to see where you might make them better.

All I wanna do is...

Written by Ernest Fruge,Jr

All I wanna do is drink

~verse 1~
-Sitting on the front steps
Going over regrets
keeping them secret
-Put it all together
It’s a stormy weather
Don’t forget the words you said
-We all make mistakes
But you’re a little concave
When it comes to your rage
-The little things you picked on
Surely we could go on
But it won’t satisfy your taste

~Chorus~
All I wanna do is drink
Sit and watch the sunset
Light up a cigarette
And burn through the night

Take shots of whiskey
Cut out the memories
Your a ghost in my mind

I can’t take this anymore
The devil knocked down my door
I’m in a trance and I’m standing at the brink
‘Cause All I wanna do is drink

~Verse 2~

-In the beginning
There was no defending
Everything seem right
-When I took one knee
Surely I didn’t see
The way you were inside
-Maybe it was your past
Covered in a white mask
You hid behind so long
-Now I’m a victim
Sitting in a prison
Because I won’t satisfy your wrong

~Chorus~
