This song reminded me of all the people we lost that are no longer with us.
I love bluegrass so of course, I like it.
It’s good as is; But I’m wondering if it could be a tiny bit better:
the angel reference is grandma because she was sweet like a Saint. or an angel for real, or grandma’s spirit;
Is it better that she hears you when you pray or knows that you pray;
You won’t forget the empty chair.
I’m also wondering if mentioning how she’s with Jesus, the one she taught you about could be more clear.
Not trying to split hairs here, I promise. I’m just thinking of how other Christians might receive the song.

I’m not a big bluegrass fan but this feels like a crossover and very pleasing to the ears. I’m more into the lyrical content, and not rhyming “dumb” words, and this song is an A+ in that category. Well done, if the Dixie Chicks get saved, they would be my target for this song!

I really like it. The banjo sweeps you up and takes you along to the kitchen table. Nicely done Tammy
