“On My Knees” was written during a season when I felt like I was doing everything I knew how to do… but nothing was moving. I was trying to hold it together, ministry, life, responsibilities, and the weight of people’s expectations. And I remember having one of those moments where I realized I didn’t have any more answers left. I couldn’t fix it, I couldn’t force it, and I couldn’t carry it. All I could do was fall on my knees and pray. And that’s where God met me. That song is a reminder that sometimes God doesn’t wait until we’re strong, He steps in when we’re surrendered.”
