A little something I wrote in twenty minutes late one night.
Nice job with this! The deep lyrics, your vocals combined with the piano fit well together.

I really like this song and your lyric style is definitely my favorite to listen to. Maybe turn down the backup vocals on the very first harmony you sing. It took me by surprise, which was nice, but I felt they were a little overpowering. Thanks for the great song!

Skin
(Bm, F#m, Gm, D)
Darling, how I so adore you
Although you leave prior to the show
I'll buy another ticket for you next week
And hope not to see you go
Circus games and saving grace
Let me have a chance to prove my worth
Step right up and show your strength
All for your low price
(Bm, F#m, Gm, D)
I'll let you stick my skin with a pin as I let you i-i-i-i-in aga-i-i-i-i-in
Breathe in once, then it's down under the water, my friend
Hold me close, don't let me see
I'm only living when you speak
But please stick my skin with a pin when I let you i-i-i-in again
(Bm, F#m, A, G)
Scattered hopes and broken dreams can't match the way I feel when I'm with you
I'll breathe your scent like cigarettes
And light the match just let there be a truce
You are a cancerous drug
You are my lovely little one (Dm)
(Bm, F#m, Gm, D)
I'll let you stick my skin with a pin as I let you i-i-i-i-in aga-i-i-i-i-in
Breathe in once, then it's down under the water, my friend
Hold me close, don't let me see
I'm only living when you speak
But please stick my skin with a pin when I let you i-i-i-in again

I love this. Kind of has a Regina Spektor or a Kate Nash vibe.
