I live close enough to walk to lower broadway- I love Robert's, but it is hard to find a seat in there most of the time! There's a reason! People love the "back in time" feel it has and old country music! Has to write about it and asked Johnny Born (Jon Eborn) to cowrite this one with me
Anything welcome-

“A Seat @ Robert’s”
Jon Eborn/Carey Latham
V1
You can find yourself in Nashville
Buyin’ buckles, boots and a hat
Next your dancin’ in a honky tonk
Tryin' to find a dollar for the band
And you can find a shot or two or three of damn good whiskey
The kind that puts some holler in your swaller
Find a piece of you, you thought was missin'
But it’s hard to find a seat at Robert's
CH
Is it the flicker in the neon
The fiddle & steel inside
Is the magic in the sandwiches
Or is it those moonpies
A hundred other bars in town
Only one so hard to leave
Take a chance
(But) I’ll bet you a dollar
It'll be hard to find a seat @ Robert's
V2
I know it might sound crazy
That big blue Broadway sign
You can try to walk right past it
But it’ll pull every soul inside
That’s hungry for the music, hungry for a minute back in time
To touch what has been forgotten
It must know we need what country used to be
Yeah, it’s hard to find a seat at Roberts
CH
Is it the flicker in the neon
The fiddle & steel inside
Is the magic in the sandwiches
Or is it those moonpies
A hundred other bars in town
Only one so hard to leave
Take a chance
(But) I'll bet you a dollar
It’ll be hard to find a seat @ Robert's
BRIDGE
I’ll bet those legends on the walls
Just wait for folks to leave
And even after last call
You still can’t find a seat
CH
Is it the flicker in the neon
The fiddle & steel inside
Is the magic in the sandwiches
The PBR’s or those Moonpies
A hundred other bars in town
Only one so hard to leave
Two - step all night
Or stand a little taller
If you can't find a seat @ Robert's
You can’t find a seat at Robert’s
