I had this one rolling around for a bit but never quite finished it. Threw it at Brad Hacker and Kris Tiscareno for some help finishing. I was going for a Strait or Kenny type vibe. Thinking maybe Jon Pardi vein now! What do you think? Let us know!
Take a listen and let us know overall, where does this one put you? Thanks again.
Nice one. Interested to know at what point you decided to bring in other writers to help finish.

Had a few different versions of verses and couldn’t decide what worked the best so I had some help in the elimination round so to speak. A song can transform sometimes and this one has had a run in the writing phase.

Thanks for sharing. Sometimes I love a chorus, but the verses just don’t do it justice. I should kick those over the fence sometime.

I’ve got some I kick around for years and then finally finish. Either on my own or with help! Don’t ever get rid of them! We’ll have to get together sometime and see what happens. Thanks for checking it out!

For sure. Would love to collaborate sometime. Seems like you’ve got a good roster of co-writers right now, but if you think there’s something we could work on together, I’d welcome the chance. Hit me up on FB messenger if anything comes up. Thanks!

You Fly
Music and lyrics by Patrick Adams(BMI), Brad Hacker(BMI), Kris Tiscareno(BMI)
Verse 1
I was rolling in luck, but running outta time
An empty bottle of tequila, fresh outta lime
An expensive habit, that's worth every dime
And I know it’s not my place to ask you to dance
But here I am spellbound from your magic trance
You working that devilish raised eyebrow glance
Pre-chorus
Given this new life lesson I've learned
It's my turn to pay for this tab I've earned
Chorus
You fly
I’ll buy
I’ll go
Anywhere with you
Take a chance
Let's dance
I've never known
Anyone like you
Northern Colorado
The Gulf of Mexico
Or Mai Tai’s on Maui at noon
Yeah Sangria in San Antone will do You fly I'll buy
2nd Verse
I was falling for you and starting to go crazy Wondering how in the world did this pretty lady save me
After all I'd seen and the troubles I'd had
I'm just a tiny little freckle in this universe
But I feel more distinguished since meeting you girl
Things are right on the money and we're having a ball
Chorus
You fly I'll buy I'll go Anywhere with you
Take a chance
Let's dance
I've never known Someone like you Southern Wyoming
Red dirt Oklahoma
Yeah any old place will do I don't care as long as I'm with you
You fly I'll buy
Yeah you fly I'll buy
I'll buy
