Hi Paul,
Love the feel, reminds me of Sam Cooke.
I would try to thicken up your vocal.
Maybe double it or try a long delay.
Just my 2 cent opinion.
Good Luck, Bob

Uncle Brent ...

Man, Did you channel your inner Otis Redding for this?  If that’s a trombone, where are the trumpets and saxophones? Nice job!  Thanks, Brent

The Best Damn Day of My Life
© May 19, 2021...Bill O’Hanlon, Paul deMarco, Lucy LeBlanc

You're gonna lo-ose... me baby
If you don't use this love we found
You see I'm go-ing... places
Ain't no one gonna bring me down

Well I'd beg and I'd borrow
Cause every tomorrow could be
The best damn day of my life

I got plans… big plans
Gonna take me round the world
And I ho-pe you understand
That I want you with me girl… yes i do

Well I'd beg and I'd borrow
Cause every tomorrow could be
The best damn day of my life

I was told to climb down from the clouds
Keep my wayfaring feet on solid ground
When I stop reaching I stop feeling alive
If I don't jump how will I know how high I can fly

You're gonna lose me baby
If you don't use this love we found
You see me I'm going places
Don't need no one bringing me down

Well I'd beg and I'd borrow
Cause every tomorrow could be
The best damn day of my life
