This one is about a couple of square pegs trying to get out of their town and start a new life together. It will eventually be a duet, I think.
Lyrical, structural
Nice effort here. I also loved the dashboard Jesus line. the only minor change I would suggest is not using the same “ire” words as end rhymes in the third verse as you did in the first verse. My ear wanted to hear different rhyme sounds by then. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it. Simple and to the point.

Verse 1
Don't you ever get tired
of all the same things
Don't you want to be inspired
Maybe spread your wings
Maybe there's more to life than what we know
Verse 2
This town don't care
If we fit in
And it don't play fair
No, we just can't win
Maybe this game is moving much too slow
Chorus
So, let's go, baby let's go
Just you and me and dashboard Jesus flying down the road
Leave behind our troubled minds
Like in some old picture show
Let's go, baby let's go
Break
Verse 3
Don't you want to feel the fire
In your heart again
Don't want to kick the tires
Take 'er out for a spin...
Chorus (modified)
Let's go, baby let's go
Just you and me and dashboard Jesus flying down the road
Take it down that highway
Don't let anybody know
Let's go, baby let's go

Hey Al,
Nice intro and tone! Great vocals and imagery on the Chorus. Love the feel of this song and my favorite line is “Just you and me and dashboard Jesus flying down the road.” Thanks, Uncle Brent
