I’ve never sat out on a porch in Tennessee, but the descriptive imagery in your lyrics and complementary music made me feel I had. The two fit each other very well, and create a great laidback feel. Later in the song, you could potentially experiment with building energy even more from the second chorus on (e.g. adding a bridge or adding some vocal ad libs), and then ease off to see the song out. A beautiful song, whichever direction you choose to take it in.
