Rodeo cowboy
by Paul deMarco and Mike McCorison ©2021
Verse
Back in my prime when our lives intertwined
Thought you could be my queen
I felt like a king so I bought you that ring
Then drove off to the wild west scene
That ain’t much to give a woman like you
Lord I know
But I was born to do what I do (yeah)
Chorus:
Cause I’m a rodeo cowboy broken and busted
Still broncing to find my dream
I keep my fightin’ my demons that just keep screaming
into a bottle of old Jim Beam
I'm a rodeo rodeo cowboy yeah thats’s me
A rodeo rodeo cowboy yeah a lil bit crazy
Verse
Long roads behind, longer roads ahead
Every mile passes me by
Cities and states stand in my way
But still I ride
Chorus:
Bridge:
All the people, places, rodeo faces
There’s days I admit
The damn circuit gets old if you don’t find the gold
But I’m just too stubborn to quit… yeah I’ll never quit
No…
Chorus

Paul,
Love the music and solo ... You sang the crap out of that final chorus. I’d consider making the verses about the girl or about the path of the Rodeo Cowboy. The Pre-CH is a cool idea and not using going into the 2nd CH is a great transition. What do you think?
Thanks,
Uncle Brent
