Daddy used to spend his Sundays fishing
He was restless as a rainbow trout
When I was younger he would drag me with him

And he’d clue me in what life was all about

Mama never understood what drew him
To go wadin’ in that icy Yellowstone
But she figured she could save my soul from ruin
So some days she’d make him go alone
And I was itching in my Sunday clothes

One day dad caught religion on the water

Real nice feel to the track, music relaxed, tempo good, almost sounds bluegrass.
Not quite sure if the hook is explained fully, I understand the concept, but maybe give a concrete example of the man changed.
