About This Song

How life was so simple, so fun and so full all those years ago VS The negative aspects of technology social media etc and how people can get addicted to it and not interact in the real world and feel isolated.

Nice sounding song. The demo sounds really good. I enjoyed listening. The music and melody reminds me of a lot of the modern sounding faith/worship songs I hear at church…. The song is a good message as well, and written really well. I’m surprised you didn’t go for some of that almost cliche imagery we all think of on this subject, such as a whole family sitting at a table in a restaurant, but not talking, because they’re all playing on their phones, or the person that almost gets hit by a bus, because they’re paying too much attention to their phone. It’s probably good that you didn’t, because those are so stereotyped, but they are very relateable to everyone. lol….. Thanks for sharing your song, and good luck with your writing.

I really like the verses but the hi-hats in the pre-chorus are a little loud and take away from the vocal but still it is a good song.

When we were young so unaware
we played out for hours without a care
no mobile phones no internet
no antisocial media we lived to breath
the air.
Now i see people typing hate
to try and put you in your place
virtual life its not for me
id rather do it face to face

These days are not the same now
those days were so insane
but we were never more alive
back then.

We climbed those hills hearts beating fast
i kissed a girl for the first time
and i though it would last
riding on our bikes
in the dunes we'd hide in the sand
dug an underground hideaway
we were kings of this land.
Now everybodys begging for likes
but dont know how to engage
you walk past me when were on the street
yet you friend request my page.

These days are not the same now
those days were so insane
but we were never more alive
back then.

We feel alone
we dont communicate
go round see your friends
before its too late

These days are not the same now
those days were so insane
but we were never more alive
back then.

These days, Those days.
