Awesome song. Awesome singing.

I would add more energy (sing louder, bang on the guitar harder) for the first “Oh oh I feel it” section. That will give a more solid breakdown/rest of “slipping away” before the whole band comes in on “know I can’t stay”.

This song is definitely worth investing in. The production of this track gets the point across and has a great rustic feel, just as you describe on your Harpursville bandcamp site. But I can totally hear this song on the radio as a pop hit. If you can spend at least $500, get it recorded by a talented producer, or even pay a professional to master and edit the tracks you have

David Gray had a string of mainstream hits a few years ago that were a breath of fresh air of creativity, authenticity, and depth of lyrics, all with his own label. I feel you can do the same.
