I worked in a nursing home for 3 years and often wondered what guests with dementia thought about. Did we view them as lost souls with no direction or were they really in touch with reality...inside their minds!!!

Very interesting and what a unique topic to write about. I love the way this song sounds. It has the perfect sound to it. It feels reflective of someone’s life. The way you sing the open line and add the subtle pause to it. Really pulls me in.
The meaning of this song can be interpreted a number of different ways depending on who may be listening to it. However, it is really cool to know the true story behind the song. I really like songs that allow listeners to interpret them in their own way. Thanks for sharing!
