Hey, Dave!  A lot of good stuff going on here: a lot of imagery, good energy, and a melodic hook on top of your lyrical hook (the way you sing “taaaan.”  Uptempo, positive, love (well, let’s be honest… lust).  That’s a good commercial country formula.

That being said, the idea doesn’t kill me.  Kinda comes at the title straight ahead and doesn’t hit me with anything surprising.  It’s shallow fun, and that’s cool.  Probably goes over well in a bar at a live show.  But to break into the ‘Row, you’ll need to dig deeper for more compelling ideas.  Just my $0.02.  Overall, though, it’s nice work.  Thanks for sharing!

Tan Lines
by Dave Undis and Michael Skotte

VERSE
I think I saw a tan line when you leaned over
And your tee shirt slipped a bit down your shoulder.
I bet there’s more tan lines where that came from.
I’d sure love to see all your other ones.

CHORUS
Tan lines, I bet you got em.
Tan lines, front and back, top and bottom.
You show me yours, girl, I'll show you mine,
We'll have a real good time.
Baby I just got to see your tan lines.

VERSE
If your neck wasn’t covered by your long blonde hair
I bet I’d see another tan line there.
And if you bent down to take off your shoe
I bet I’d see one on your tushie too.

CHORUS
Tan lines, I bet you got em.
Tan lines, front and back, top and bottom.
You show me yours, girl, I'll show you mine,
We'll have a real good time.
Baby I just got to see your tan lines.

BRIDGE
What’s that you say, you’re tan line free?
Don’t tease me baby, prove it to me.

CHORUS
Tan lines, I bet you got em.
Tan lines, front and back, top and bottom.
Tan lines, I bet you got em.
Tan lines, front and back, top and bottom.
You show me yours, girl, I'll show you mine,
We'll have a real good time.
Baby I just got to see your
Yeah I just got to see your
Baby I just got to see your tan lines.
Tan lines.
Tan lines.
Yeah I just got to see your tan lines.
