I’m a product of the Chicago folk music scene of the 1970s, which produced the likes of Steve Goodman, John Prine, Bonnie Koloc et al. My axe is a 1979-vintage Martin D-28, and I like to joke with my musician friends that I might be the only guitar player on the planet who only owns ONE GUITAR! My genre says “Folk” but it’s actually broader than that. I enjoy a well-written, well-crafted song regardless of genre.
