After 35 years in television and digital media, McDowell is turning his focus to the music industry where he plans to create music and write songs. Several years ago, he joined the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and BMI and is enjoying learning more about the art of songwriting. Works include a wide variety. of styles and genres including country, rock, folk/Americana, Blues, and more.
