I was involved with music for 15 years, four of them running the weekly workshop for The Songwriters Guild of America. I was a judge for two years for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. I’m primarily a lyricist, but I did a lot of composing for a while: many country songs, crossover classical, Broadway-type stuff.  I finally gave up when I couldn’t find a collaborator (guitar/vocal) in my wheelhouse.
