We are a mom and sons songwriting team. We are partial to writing Country and Christian songs though we love pop and folk and Americana music too. The ‘boys’ play local gigs and open mics in the Little Rock and surrounding areas. This song was written about my brother who suffered childhood trauma and escaped his life with a long history of drug addictions . He was always the kindest soul to every person who crossed his path, namely the homeless... hence the human paradox.
