I started singing at age 8 & our family sang for 40+ years before I withdrew 7 years to provide 24/7 homecare for my parents. I lost my song when they passed & suffered depression. This song is about starting over when you still feel led to minister.

I'm usually upbeat, but got upset over accessibility issues and had a real pity party. I questioned why God gave me a gift if I wasn't able to get where I could use it? In that moment, my pity turned to praise knowing I sing for an audience of one.

No matter what you are going through, there's always hope as long as you can pray.

I was getting serious about a guy and thought he was too until he flirted with another girl in front of me and my friends. I felt betrayed and told him it was over. That day changed our relationship. We just celebrated our 50th anniversary this year.
