I get so busy I don't come listen and post enough on this wonderful forum...So, this morning I'm going to take in some of your songs and post a recent one as well. It's called "Lonely." My cowriter brought the idea of not wanting to admit it hurts.

There's a precious man in our Nashville neighborhood named Jesse. We've gotten to know him from walking by his home over the last year... Many times Jesse has his Gospel music coming from his car radio so he can listen to it in the mornings. One day we commented to him that it sounded good and his response was "I'm just having church on the pros." I heard a song in that response...and this is it....

Hey ALL! This is a song that I wrote with an artist I've been writing with lots over the last two years... She is growing and I am hopeful about her future! This is a VERY rough track (in fact we haven't even added guitars yet). We did this on the fly...as we wrote... Written with Riley Roth and Brandon James. Very edgy... more on pop vein. However, we plan to work the track into the Pop Country world. That is the genre she is pursuing.

My husband and I know the story of addiction from the family side... We have family members who struggle and have lost two people dear to us because of it. This song was written as a part of that journey...
